*Dust Dust*

*Dust dust*

How many days have I not updated? Or I should use weeks. Judging from my last post, its been almost a month! Hahas.

Just some updates about what I've been doing in my life~

School:
As usual, I can't find my motivation to study or start my reports yet, but they will come soon.. I hope. School is definitely much better for me thanks to my friends. I guess I still ask myself this question at times, 'Am I really suited for the business world?'
After asking myself this question, my answer is always 'Yes!' Now let's see if the business world is ready for me, let say, 5 years down the road? Hahas. I'm prepared to start from the bottom and work my way up. I'll definitely crawl or climb up the ladder! Even if I'm pulled down, I'll still find my own legitimate way up. (Yes, I won't resort to underhanded methods.)
I've met lots of juniors around in NYP, be it CHR juniors or friends I've known from other places. Surprisingly, I couldn't recognize most of them. Hahas!

CAF 2009:
Not much stuff that requires me to state here. However, I just hope that they will really buck up as there seems to be more work for them to catch up on unlike us last year. I won't want to lose 10 years of my age through this event so its all gonna be entertainment to me. Whatever they do. I must learn to see things further and predict the stuff that will happen. (As Shifu says... 'OHMMMMMM') And no, I'm not training under a waterfall in a forest or jungle.

Dance:
OUCH! I think that summarizes everything. Hahas.
Dance for Natsu 2009 is fun! even though the 'after-effects' of it are painful. I can't move my body much. I feel like a robot the whole day cos any abrupt movements will kill me. Anyway, there are 4 songs for Natsu this year. Its definitely fun and I'm really happy that I joined JMD last year. Even though I'm pretty slow in it, I'll work doubly hard to catch up! Yosh!

Friends/Family/Fun:
I've been hanging around more with Leen and the rest now. Our after school meetings are often what I look forward to. Ice-cream~~~ Really am grateful for them for being in my life. Especially Eileen. We drag each other to weird places and always talk about nonsensical stuff. Hahas. Also had a great time with BT, KK when we go out to eat, movies or just random walking in Singapore. Crazy times.. (I'm walking on sunshine.. Woooo Ohhhh)

There are also lots of crazy and fun times on saturday too. The fun in learning the choreo, the 'shower-time gossip', dinner. Yesterday was a classic example. How long has it been since I've laughed like that? Hanging around with the OPG Ardorythmatics/Alumni group is fun. Though my 1st impression of them wasn't exactly all that good but yea, they are really nice and crazy people. Hahas. They are also the cause of my stomachache. JMD is a family..I really feel that now. XDD

I've also starting to learn things from Danny (Shifu...Ohmmmmm). I really hope I'll be able to graduate from his school with flying colours absorb and learn lots of things from him because I believe that my future dream job will definitely need it. And I'm pretty sure that it applies greatly to my life currently now too. Lots of people seems to be saying I'm like a little 'weirdo/monster' that Danny has created and taught but I don't think so. Hahas.

Okay, I guess that's all for the updates on my life.

Recently, someone posted me a question on how would I treat my kids in the future. I always believed in the saying, 'Spare the rod and spoil the child.' If I were to have kids in the future, I definitely would not spoil them. I would also not keep protecting them like how my parents have treated both me and my brother. Because I've seen the consequences of that teaching, there are more cons than pros. Nonetheless, I still love my parents even though there are lots of conflicts between us. XDD

Anyway, back to the topic of kids. Actually, I can't even imagine myself as a wife, not say a mother. Hahas. I pity whoever who is going to be my husband. LOL. Of course I would want a family of my own. Definitely. But....First of all, my character is kinda of demure'abnormal'? Hahas. And second of all, my dream job.

There are 2 dream jobs for me. If its the practical job, its going to be in the events industry. If I could really dream more and do it, it would be in the tourism industry. Somewhere along the line of a tour guide or a job that lets me travel around the world. Yeaps. I really want that. We just gotta see what lies in our future. For me, the future seems uncertain right now but I'm just going to do my best and do as many things as I can with my friends and family! Yoshie Yoshie! XDDD

Guess I'll stop here for now or I'm going to have to add fingerache to the aching parts of my body. Hahas. Shall end off with my most recent picture.. XDDD

Cya till next time then!

Dancing

Whoosh! I've never danced like this for a long time! I think since Open House. My body felt awkward when I started to dance at first, but getting better as I continue to practise. But still lots of place for improvement. Definitely. I shall do my best.

Somehow dancing makes me forget about my stupid sore throat and cough. Yeaps, I started coughing today..Yesterday was flu. But thank God that my throat is healing, its much better now! Just the cough for now. Oh yea, somehow, I don't really have any appetite to eat these few days. For this week, I've been mainly eating one meal per day which is enough to keep me full. Like yesterday and today, I only ate 1 Doublecheese burger and wasn't hungry the whole day. Had to stuff the whole burger down.

Today was SJCC orientation and I'm actually quite disappointed with them I guess. Shan't say much but I'm sure they will learn from today's event and do better for the next event. Jiayou!

My first week of school is pretty hard to adjust my mentality back from work to studying. Plus this year, all my modules are theory based, no calculations or anything. Sigh, the modules are quite boring. A lot of ICA projects so hopefully my group will be able to work well~ Somehow, after talking to Mel and Vann, I realise that most of my classmates do not hang out with each other outside school, normally is go class, break together, home after school. We will seldom go out so I guess my class is not as bonded as others. Sad.. I guess I'm more attached to SJCC friends than my classmates.

School will be boring for me if I didn't join SJCC and met all my friends there.

Dance practice today was for natsu, supposed to be Wonder Girls Nobody dance, but in the end, not enough time and was practising Cheng Yao with them. Hahas! The dance is niceeeee~~ Tiring but nice. Legs gonna die tomorrow.. I still have lots of things to improve for the dance too. But I enjoyed it. Though I was a little unsure whether to dance for natsu but after dancing Cheng Yao, it reaffirms my decision to perform. Though I'm confirmed for 'Nobody' choreography now, I must do my best in that choreography and also in Cheng Yao. The dance is addictive! I want to dance it too!! XDDD Jiayou jiayou!!

It's my LIFE!!

Let's see, after the revival post, I got lazy and stopped blogging again. Hahas. Hard to type out what I actually did in these last few weeks so I'll just state the more significant and important points I guess.

My attachment is over!!! Woohoooooooo~~~~ Finally, I made some great friends through there, Vann, Mel and Fiona. The 3 interns are also known as VJM. LOL, Fiona was a HR assistant who had just been employed and.....hahas. Oh well, she posted some of our photos that we took on the last day in facebook so I won't post it up here anymore and I didn't take any pictures. All that I have to do now is the IPP report which I'm dreading it. Ugh. I think its going to be all about filing. Sigh~~~

School's starting tomorrow. My timetable is okay. Not the best or the worst. I get fridays off!! 6 modules, mainly touching on the HR side. Let's hope I'll be able to do well in my studies again. Though I feel really slack now. Can't wait to meet familiar faces back in school and see if I can spot any in the Year 1 batch.

Anyway, there are a few creepy disturbing stuff happening to me these few days. I wonder if there is some kind of sign over my head saying, "Disturb this person, its fun!"

Disturbing scene 1:
I was on my way to my workplace and walking through the underground pass when I saw this guy in his mid 30s. He had dreadlocks and the 'towel' he used was of a denim material. That's not the worst. He was wearing denim shorts above his knee and a translucent 'blouse' that was almost reaching his shorts! Translucent! I probably burned my eyes after that scene. I wanted to pass him 2 plasters to prevent anyone from suffering the same way I did.

Weird scene 2:
The next day, I was sitting in a bench next to Singtel, waiting for Kim, watching my videos in my PSP when this lady started yakking loudly near me. At first I thought that she was talking to someone esle so I didn't bother. But suddenly I heard her speaking very closely to me and all I caught was ".....got Singtel shop here?" In chinese too. So I just turned to her direction and pointed at the 'oh-so-obvious singtel shop right next to us.' Which she replied me asking me what the time was and if there was another one nearby. I replied her saying that I was not very sure of it and she started complaining to me about how late Singtel starts work etc and how she had paid her bill recently and they cut off her line. So I just stared and nodded but not before getting a shock from her attire. She was dripping! Her hair, clothes and bag looked like she had purposely walked in the slight drizzle. As I had just entered from outside, it was only a slight drizzle but I wished she would dry herself before popping out next to someone and start her complaints.

Disturbing scene 3:
On the last day of my attachment, I took the mrt with Vann to Novena to visit both of our relatives in TTSH. Upon entering the train, there was this suspicious white styrofoam box that was right next to the doors. Everyone just stood there and it looks like it did not belong to anyone. The two of us kept staring at it and everyone was like trying to keep a distance away from it. We hoped that nothing will happen if it really is some kind of suspicious item for the next two stops. Once we alighted, we went to the control station just to let them know and showed them the picture of the box that I took. Interesting, I wondered what happened to it later on. Vann was saying, what happens if it turns out to be crabs? LOL!

Disgusted scene 4:
Just after that, walking along TTSH corridor with Vann, we met these 2 people quarreling. A patient with a broken arm and a Kopitiam staff. The patient was obviously injured as he had his arm in a sling and his head was facing down as he was talking while his other hand was holding his handphone and tissues too. He was rushing to the toilet while the lady insisted that he bring his stuff along with him. He asked if she could just bring it to the Kopitiam above but the lady shouted back at him, asking him to carry his own stuff. (Oh, we were dragged in because the lady stopped Vann and I to explain to him that he had to take his stuff with him.) Seeing this, both of us volunteered to take his stuff up for him and followed the lady to the Kopitiam. The staff there were telling us we shouldn't have agreed to take his stuff and saying that the patient was mentally unstable. But I shoot them back, saying that there were no other alternatives. That patient obviously couldn't take his own belongings right?? Its true that you have to close the shop soon but there are hardly any customers inside and you guys are just lounging there. Have some sympathy man! Sheesh, Vann and I took the stuff and later on, the poor guy was really in a bad situation. The whole story with him is pretty long and this is just part 1.

Funny scene 5:
This is pretty random. On the way to school yesterday, I sat behind a lady who clipped up her hair....using a peg! Serious, I was shocked but I took a picture of it. I couldn't stop laughing. But i pity the hair, it must have hurt.

Okay, end of all the weird, disturbing stuff.
I met up with Kim (another weird person..XDD) yesterday to attend her youth service. I had a really good time there and it reminded me of the times I attending CF during secondary 1. Happened to meet Joel Bay there too. Hahas, it was a long time since I met him. He still looks pretty much the same like in CHR except he got his own bike now. Bike, not bicycle, which was what I thought at first. Hahas! Kim and I talked about a few stuff and yea, I kinda of agreed with what she said and of course, there was gossip too. Interesting stuff. We bought this disgusting bubble tea from Northpoint and it was really bad.
We also met up on Tuesday and went back to CHR. Managed to meet Koa, Santha, Hock, David, Dennis and also Thomas Than. Ahhhh~~~ Talked about the good old days where we were so mischievious and played pranks on practically all the teachers that were close to us. Most of the teachers have left the school and the surviving ones seems so stress. But I'm really glad we managed to catch up with them. Its been soooo long since I last saw them. Koa's daughter is super cute now!~~~

Anyway, back to school.
I went back to NYP on sat for CAF meeting. It was the 1st meeting for CAF 2009. CAF was something that my batch started up, I want to see it through until it really blooms. The 1st one was a success and I want to make sure the next one is a bigger success too.
Though organizing CAF last year was pretty tough, but I was glad that there was this event. Through this event, I found another passion that I can pursue in my future career. Events management. Somehow, I really enjoyed it during the planning and the on-site work. That is one side I would like to pursue next time, and hopefully, I can get a degree in it too.

I also went to take a look at the 1st natsu practice. Didn't know it was that day until Sok Hiang told me. hahas, didn't check facebook at all. XDDD Anyway, decided to join them for Natsu performance this year too. Last year was really fun at Natsu.

I know that with my third year now and stuff, some people will probably think I'm mad for taking up so many activities but I believe I will be able to cope my time management. And the main thing, my attachment made me realise that time is short, once I step into the workforce, I have to give up on a lot of things. So I'm going to do as many things as I can in my final year. I'm going to enjoy the things I want to now so that 10 years down the road, I won't look back and regret. So that I won't regret my life in NYP. For the 2 years I've been here, I've never once regretted anything.
I did not regret not appealing, I did not regret joining SJCC, AAA, JMD. I did not regret anything I did so far and I do not want it to start at all. You may call me crazy or so, but I want to live life to the fullest! Time is really short. The things happening these few days made me realise it.
I mentioned it above, I went to the hospital to visit my grandma, who was just diagnosed with cancer. I'm not very sure of the stage now but I do hope everything will be okay.

Going to go off for now..its a really long post. Hahas...time for me to sleep~~~ School tomorrow~

Movies Review

I'm back for a movie review and a short post if I'm not too tired. For this period, these are the movies I've caught and shall post what I feel about it because I can't sleep yet. But since there are quite a few movies, I shall try to keep them in one sentence. XDDD

Hilarious, average storyline but funny jokes and etc...Quite interesting, like any Hong Kong Police drama series.
A show that disappointed me greatly as the movie seems to say, even if you know about it, you can't change anything and you're gonna DIE!!!!
A definitely must watch if you like cars and action. It was my 1st time watching the series and I liked it! XD
Happy in the beginnning, tearjerker at the end. Like what my friend said, "We paid $6 to cry."
Quite an exciting shows and their powers are cool....hahas..
Nicey nice shows for dogs lover. It will tug at your heart at some time in the movie. And their inventions are super good which will make you feel like buying one for your pet too..
A definitely must watch for everyone. You will just keep laughing 90% of the whole movie.
Comedy movie with a slight twist at the end with ridiculously funny scenes.
Nice chick flick. Their pranks were funny and really shows how scheming a woman can be..hurhurhur
A funny yet 'touching' movie where it shows that outcasted and unique kids are all seeking love and concern. Its definitely funny..XDD
A must watch movie too! The casts are already WOW and the storyline is good. Different stories surrounding them. Those random inputs are the best!
A show that will make you very very hungry. Pretty interesting, well, kungfu shows have always been interesting. The food will make you drool. Kinda of freaky how the chefs are able to sort out what ingredients they need etc..
Finally, the last one. PUSH! A super nice show and the storyline is good. The ending was interesting and good. The phsyic powers are enough to make you go WOW too. But there are some parts where we just can't understand why they didn't use their power. LOL

Finally done, didn't do a good job on it. And since it is 1am, I shall go to bed now. I'll continue with posting tomorrow about some of my recent thinkings and also my life!~ Nites

Revived

Hah! I'm back to blogging again..for now. Just realised I've not touched my blog for more than a month. Been pretty busy I guess, last update was before my exams. Urgh. Anyway, I'm currently in my supposedly 3rd year attachment which I'm currently doing in my 2nd year long holidays thus I'm normally MIA-ing for lots of stuff and in school. I'm pretty much locked up on weekdays. Sigh~ Guess this is what working life is all about. Just thankful that I have 2 great people working with me there too, Mel and Vann. Without them, I think I would have died of boredom there. With them there, everyday is like a crazy day!! Pictures shall be posted in another post. I'm just too lazy to start uploading them.. XDDD

Went shopping with Leen last friday at Far East and due to my workplace's location, I think I know FEP pretty well now. Sigh~ Getting bored of that place, but I'm still discovering new cool shops as I venture around. Bought some hair accessories for myself to try out some new hairstyles I read about online while Leen got some nail art which she seems pretty crazy over it. Oh! And I ate my 1st Subway meal too. Call me suaku or whatsoever. I've really never eaten Subway sandwiches till friday, normally, if I walked into Subway, its to buy their cookies. Heex.

Went out with Kim today. Finally met her since Chinese New Year. Its been so so so so long since I've met her again. And she still looks the same. Hahas, Chiang met up with us later on suddenly. That kuku fellow. Arrived late for movie. We went to watch Hotel For Dogs. It is super nice and touching. But how the dogs are being pampered are like...ZAI! Spa, salon, vending machines. Hahax.. anyway, it was great to 'ketchup' with Kim and Chiang again. Din talk as much as I wanted with Kim partly due to lack of time and also most of the things I wanted to tell her, I forgot. (P.S. Kim, you must be thinking you made me speechless right?) Hahas, it was like in secondary school again. Just hanging out together.
We were talking about CHR, our future, friends, classmates etc which made it sound like we are aging very fast.. Give me back my youth! Lol. But I guess we all grew lots these few years. So, we went window shopping in Taka, Wisma and FEP (again! I know) and who knew Chiang was such a fashionista! Hahas, deciding the clothes that were suitable for Kim and I. I guess we'll probably see him on the cover of a fashion magazine soon. Hahas. We walked for quite some time before we all had to go off. And guess who we met on the train, just as we were discussing about. BLow! Hahas..with his girlfriend. Then we started the old people thing again. Talking about school, about friends, about CHR, about visiting T Square (again) and also discussing about our friends' relationships until we've reached our stop.

Kinda of really miss the days back then. Hahas, oh well, there are plenty of time to meet up again and I'm curious as to how all of our future will unfold. Guess I just have to wait. I can't wait to see how mine will be. XDDD I know it will be great.

As the days go by, I'm only left with one year in poly. Whoosh! So fast! But I'm also confused about where should I go after that. Work or Study? What industry and degree should I pursue? I'm still thinking about tourism/hospitality and events industry. Wonder will I be able to work/study in there? Guess all I have to do is to study hard now (yea right, like I will) and pray about it.

This is a looong post so no pictures. Anyway, I watched quite a few movies again and I think I'll blog about them next time. Chiang and Kim commented that my blog is like a movie reviews blog. Hahas, I shall try to start cutting down on the movies that I'll be watching then but there are so much gooood movies coming out. I want to watch Race to Witch Mountain and Confessions of a Shopaholic. Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen, Harry Potter 6 and also New Moon. Woots! All coming out this year. Hohohoho!

Kim also said that not a lot of people know about this blog of mine. Partly I did not update any links from my previous blog and only informed some friends. Hahas.

Anyway, my attachment is halfway through, another 5 more weeks! Yosh! Gambatte!! I can't wait to start school, freedom and casual clothes! Hurhurhur. Oh yea, I got back my exam results. Quite happy with it as usual. Though my overall GPA dropped but I'm still super happy with it.
Starting from my 1st paper:
ICT Business - Distinction
Japanese Language - B+
Business Law - Distinction
Business Finance - B+
Marketing - B
Fin/Management Acc (EFMA) - Distinction
Human Resource - Distinction
Overall GPA: 3.79 now.

Heex, 4 Dist and lowest B. Thus I'm quite happy, was worried my marketing would be a C. Thank God!

Anyway, I guess its time for me to sign off now. Church tomorrow. Tata!~

Chingay 2009

Okay, this post is a little late..hahas.

Chingay 2009 is over and it was super fun. Hahas, really enjoyed the time on friday and saturday!! Heex, and took lots of photos, all in facebook. The whole parade was super high. Its a super big difference watching on tv and being there live. Hahas.

Walking Stitch! So Cutee!!!
Singing Stitch

I've been watching a few movies here and there even though my exams are just around the corner. Some were quite long ago like Red Cliff 2, etc. Oh well, here they are.

Red Cliff 2

The movie is zai, Zhugeliang is superb. The way he thinks and acts. Woots, so is Zhao Wei's character. Sun Shang Xiang i think. The arrow girl. LOL..Know a bit of the characters when the guys were playing Dynasty Warrior. But the movie is good even though I didn't watch the 1st movie. Hahas.

All's Well End's Well

Humorous and light hearted movie. Kept laughing but yet its stupid, especially whenever they do the dance. LOL..but really nice too. Hahas..
Love Matters

Pretty funny though as usual, there is a super sad part inside there. But still ok for this movie. Not say as sad as the I not Stupid 2 or Money not enough 2. I think to really know the funny parts, must watch the other shows by Jack Neo.
Inkheart
Got 2 free GV movie tickets from Mum so went to PS to watch Inkheart. Sadly the movie is quite draggy and not that nice. Didn't meet my expectations. Sad.
Can't wait to watch Bride Wars soon! Woots!

Okay, time to get going for me. Will be back after the exams I guess.

Happy Niu Year!

I'm back in Singapore for some time and don't worry, I did not die in Thailand. LOL...Just too lazy to blog and lack of time.

2009 is here and its the start of a new year meaning that there are lots of things to do and prepare. School work, Open house, woah! Busy busy busy. First thing to get over is my BFin and EFMA test next tuesday, followed by my presentation on wednesday and finally, OPEN HOUSE! Wheeee.............................

I got quite a few photos between this period of time but haven't got the chance to upload. (too lazy) but I will do it soon. XDD

Can't wait for most of my school work to pass and let me take a break, then it will be Chingay!

Open house is being a headache now looking at the juniors settling the booth and stuff. Really wish them luck. But somehow, I feel that we are helping them too much unlike last year where we did majority of the planning and our seniors helped a little. Really different. Oh well. Let's just hope it will turn out ok.

Finished watching Bedtime Story and IP Man. Both are equally cool. IP Man was niceeeee. And so cool. The fight moves are zai and exciting all the way. XDD Bedtime story like any Disney show is nice and funny. Lol, went to watch with G4 + 1, D2. Hahas. I'll post better reviews and the poster up next time.

Happy Birthday to KK tomorrow! bGoh also told me that this sunday there will be 6/10 class dinner / gathering. Probably going I guess. Long time since I've seen them. Really long. LOL.

That's all for now, going to Pets Society. Its a cool game. XDDDD
Cya!

Twilight & Byebye

Yeaps..I've watched Twilight and here is the movie 'review' LOL..

Hmmm, one thing for sure, both Bella and Edward looks much nicer in the movie than in the poster. Edward don't look that freaky or scary and Bella looks slightly prettier. Some parts were funny, some were 'huh' (as I can't really hear what they were saying... LOL) and some were frightening/scary. A little. Not a bad movie for me as I've not read the book before and from the ending, I think there is going to be a sequel to it. It better have anyway, the ending was not really an ending. Lots of questions unanswered. Heex, anyway, no spoilers for those who haven't read the book like me. XDDD

Packing my stuff for tomorrow trip to Thailand, Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. Hopefully I get to do lots of shopping there. Hahas, I know Chiang Mai has lots of shopping places like their night market, but, might not be able to go there as I'll probably be staying at Chiang Rai instead. Sad.
=( Hopefully everything will be peaceful there and I'll be able to enjoy it too.Oh well, shall end off at here.

Have a happy holidays~

Photos Fun!~

Wheeee~ Just done with one test. ICT, quite easy and was surprised at it. I got back my bFin test. Quite happy with my results. 28 out of 30. This two weeks are the project and test weeks, just before the holidays. Sigh. MY trip to Thailand might be cancelled too, thanks to the riot and stuff that is happening just nice at the area we are going. Oh well, let's hope that it will end soon. Heex. In bLaw now and getting bored, there's like nothing to do on the laptop cos I'm too lazy to go online and my lappy is too laggy too. Argh..
Decided to upload some pictures that I 'edited' through an online software. Heex. Did it quite some time ago but forgot to upload it. Heex. '

Best friendz~
I went window shopping and found...They love me!
Yeaps, ending off with this pic. I got extensions, fake ones though. XDDDD
haven really worn it out yet..heex. not used to it yet...
