..... Knock knock?

Greetings earthlings!

I've just escaped from the mothership and am back to report my safety status.

Okok, I'm just joking~ It's been more than a month since I've last blogged and I do apologise for the lack of updates! I did arrive safely back from Vietnam, no worries about that, but there were just piles of work and shit for me to settle resulting in the 'dustiness' of this bloggie!

Many things happened and after much contemplation, I've decided to just move on. Sometimes, no matter what you say, what you do or what you want doesn't matter, So why bother?
Maybe it's harsh, but I guess, it's just me. Maybe it's all a facade, maybe it's not. I don't know. Sometimes, I'm lost trying to find myself too. But that's what life is all about, isn't it?

Alrighty!

No more emo-ness! My blog can't take too much of it~ XDD

Anyway, the past month has pretty hectic. Meet-ups, school, church and many more~
I had lots of meet-ups to do upon arriving back to civilization from Vietnam. Missed Kim, Leen, Joy & the 'Sisters' so much lar!

Speaking of Vietnam, it was a blast!

I had an awesome time there and it's gonna be one of my deepest etched memories! (inside joke) Tons of photos were taken and I have no idea where to start blogging about, but I'll try. Heex. Hopefully I'll be able to do up a small post regarding it during the CNY week. =)

Lots of random updates regarding this past month that if I were to list them all in this post, it will probably flood my blog. Hahaha! Some notable updates are gonna be like my church's Xmas Nite, meet-up with Kimmy Kim Kim and beach shoot with Leen, Kuromi & Haru.

My 2nd semester @ SMU has started and I feel like I'm getting to be more studious this year. Seriously! Maybe my transition to SMU is finally done~

Gonna start working hard!~がんばって!

Currently in class now but as my fingers started to itch, I knew I had to blog for just a teeny little while. Heex.. Shall end off here now but I promise you that you will not have to wait sooooo long for the next post kay? So do stick around here and while you're bored, do clickie-click on my ads. Ms Jo here needs to find a job pronto! Do email me if you have any job lobangs orhkay? XDD

Cya for now and don't miss moi too much~ =p

I know you're gonna miss me~

Yes I do!

I know you're gonna miss me!!!

Am I right?

I'm right, right?!

Hahahahaha!

Anway, the past few days had been really hectic! Clubbing/Fling 2, steamboat, outings, trip to Msia & shopping!

Notice I didn't say anything about packing?

Cos... I've yet to start packing!!!!

I feel so dead now! Hahahahaha! And I'm flying off tomorrow night. Guess I shall pack tomorrow morning instead. Gosh!

Time flew by so damn fast these past few days. Got loads of things waiting for me when I get back!

I'll be back on the 23rd so for 19 days, you'll have peace & quiet.

Nahh~ Just kidding. It'll be boring without me. Hurhurhur.

Will be uploading 2-3 posts here and there. Am almost done with them and will publish it over the weeks that I'm gone. Within them, there will be posts on AFA X & also my 2nd trip to Ikebanana Cafe!

WHEE!

That's all! Please pray that I'll get well soon as I'm still feeling off from my fever & sore throat. Plus it doesn't help that my stomach is not taking in much food.

See, this is what my 'boyfriend' Leen has prepared specially for me~ Her love love honey lemon lemon drink & strepsils!

Gonna miss her so damn much!!

And I finally dress up 'appropriately' for the weather! It's been raining crazily these past few days! It's Winter the cold season!

Totally love this new top I got from Msia! Gonna bring it to Vietnam with me!

Okie! That's all for now! All emails & tags shall only be replied after Christmas but don't let that stop you from doing it! And do click on the ads too~

Thank You & see ya peeps when I'm back!

I'm blessed. Are you?

I feel so blessed as I'm typing this post.

Why?

Isn't that simple. Count all the blessings that you have received in your life. And I mean ALL.

We've always been taking things for granted and they are the most important things in life.

Reason why I'm talking about this is 'cos I've recently joined a volunteer program to help kids in Vietnam.

It's an OSCP from SMU and I'll be going to Vietnam this December for 19 days!

I'm really excited and am looking forward to see the kids & teenagers there. We'll be teaching them the English language and when I heard that the Kindergarten students had zilch knowledge of English, I suddenly felt so so so dmn blessed! It's not that I'm laughing at them but just think about it. When we were in Kindergarten or even before we went in, we could speak not 1 but 2 languages already! And how did we pick them up? Through our family, friends & of course television.
TV is like such a norm to us now but to them, it's a luxury.
(P.S. I'm referring to the place that we are going, not the whole of Vietnam lah!)

Projectors in our classrooms. We're so used to it but they don't even have it.

That's why I said I feel so blessed as I type this post out 'cos it proves I can read and type. And you reading this post means that you have a grasp of the English language.

Don't you feel blessed already!?

But oh wells, if you still don't feel anything then I can't do anything.

Besides teaching them, we'll be building a kitchen for them too! Thank goodness we're building it and not cooking for them or goodness knows what will happen when they eat my cooking.
The only food I can cook well on a stove is instant noodles? And I cook it really well okay!

Hahaha! Anyway, really looking forward to my trip there as not only will it be a visit to a new country but I so love the people who are going together! My OCSP team is like an awesome bunch of people! Loads of fun with them. Return date was on the 20th Dec but decided to extend it to 23 Dec to do more sightseeing! Saw some touristy photos of Vietnam and the views are WOW!

Can't wait to see them!

I'm getting so hyped up about my trip till I've lost track of my main topic of this post!

Anyway, if you would like to help these kids out, here's a chance for you to do so!

We're looking for in-kind donations to bring over to them. Mainly books, so if you have any good education books which you think will be useful for them or knows any place willing to donate, please email me.

Or there is another method that you can help too!

We're having a booth at SMU for this week and we're selling imported handmade slippers for Vietnam. Really pretty & unique designs! Am so tempted to buy them for my own!

It's only $10 per pair!

There's male designs too so if you're interested in any, do drop me an email or come down to our booth which is opposite Studio Wu.

Ice-creams are yummilicious too! Think I'm gonna get fat from selling them as I eat as I sell! Hahahaha! And there's more! Yami yoghurt & Eskimo bubble tea are coming your way too!!! I think I'll need more exercise this week! Lol!

By the way, my email is joxianna@gmail.com

Okie! So now that you know how to help out, start doing & get good karma at the same time too! Heehee!

P.S. Loving my new hair colour, new contact lenses & new shirt in the above pic! Will post more about it next time!

TTFN peeps!
