Once again..

Yeaps, you saw it right. I'm back once again. And this time, let's just strip it bare. Just you & me. Words, words and more words. Call it laziness or tiring, all those old posts I wanted to blog about, mainly filled with pictures and all, are non-existent. I lost quite a bulk of photos last year when my baby Vaio crashed. And I only recovered 80gb worth of photos. I know that sounds like there's a lot of photos but trust me, there were more. So yea, after retrieving my photos, I didn't really went to sort them out. So good news, no backlog! Well, good news for me.

Had the urge this morning to revamp my blog. But after going through yet another meeting in school, I felt too lazy AND tired to do it. Since the last time I blogged, there were countless of times I wanted to blog but I felt suppressed. Restricted. So many things I wanted to say but yet, I can't. So many things I want to share, to shout to the world, to note it down for myself in this personal space of mine but I guess with technology now, it isn't really that personal anymore. And for people who tell me to just blog it all out, you peeps are nuts.

Suppression. It's a love-hate relationship for me. How many relationships have I blown up with that? Some I managed to salvaged but some.. It's my bad habit. Suppressing issues and all. Maybe I'm being too nice, or a coward or avoiding conflicts, whatever you call it, I do that. Just can't seem to stop myself. I try and I guess I did change a little but it's still really hard for me. But I'm wishing with all my might and strength that I won't blow up anymore relationships due to this bad habit. Note: Relationships =/= Boy-Girl Relationships.

I guess this is just a random post I decided to do so some random updates? Currently still studying, 1.5 more years to go. Bad & good news for me again. I got an HP Spectre XT to replace my Vaio. Going for an exchange to Vancouver UBC soon in June for a few months. Hmm, what other happenings? None really. I guess I'm a pretty boring person. Oh well, I accept that. Whahahaha!

I predict that after this post, I'll probably 'die' off the surface of this blog again and update like.. Ok. I don't really have an answer for that. Haha! But I guess I'll still be pretty active on the other social media channels like Twitter, Instagram and probably Facebook? iPhone is just handy. Oh yea! Currently addicted to Line Play. =X Guilty as charged. So kudos! Signing off!~

Friends that keep me alive~

I'm trying to consistently blog. Maybe it would help me in expressing my feelings better. Not that I had trouble with them before, especially the negative ones but it's better not to keep things bottled up inside. Had this epiphany when I was discussing some stuff with my Uni friends. Topic was 'Tactful or Fake?'. Well, we did not exactly came up with that topic statement but our content were revolving around that and I thought that it was pretty interesting to ponder upon. After an hour or so of discussing, we saw things from different perspectives and it was really brain-stimulating in some sense. So I thought I would share it out here. What are your views about tact? To what extent would you consider a behaviour 'fake'?

School's coming to an end soon. Week 11 is over and only a few more weeks before my exams start.

But every cloud has a silver lining and in this case, it means that I'm finally gonna have a life again! It will be time to catch up with friends, do the things that I've been longing for, dramas, read, beach and.................... BANGKOK TRIP!!! Oh yea!

 

Yeaps, I know I've been rattling on about my July BKK trip since the past few posts but I'm just so dmn excited! And you can bet your hair I'll still mention it in the upcoming posts. =D


Anyway, was trying to clear space in my iPhone and com and realised, I have tons of photos that have yet to see the light and I was thinking, I shall just stuff everything into my blog. =^_^=

So as I was sorting out my photos, I saw some old photos too which made me go:（　ﾟ Дﾟ）

It's amazing how people can change. In this case, I mean physically. Looking back at a certain collection of photo I have, I'm always amazed.

Like Joy would always mention, "Why didn't you tell me how horrible I look?"

Well, gotta say, I guess I had little or zilch fashion sense at the age of 6? Hahahaha! But look at her now, big change! Woah!

Another collection of photos that will always bring a smile to my face is of my secondary school mates. The way we look and the crazy things we did, oh gosh. Endless!

I found neoprints of Kim and I in 2005? Oh gosh, horrendous. Not going to post it up or Kim might kill me. Actually, I think I might just do it myself.

Secondary school, those were the days. Days where I met some of the best people in my life. Not just the classmates I had, but the teachers. Well, I gotta say, I started having more confidence in myself thanks to the teachers. Sounds really cliche but it's true. Thanks to the mini outburst flare-up that I had in Sec 3, I found friends who were willing to stick by me. (≧∇≦)

Oh gosh, i feel so sentimental now.

Looking back, it has been 10 years since we know each other.

 Though it has been known that we do not show our affections for each other in the conventional way but still, we managed to survive the horror build up a strong and unique friendship~

Up to this day, even though we don't meet each other as often but whenever we do, we're able to talk like old times and this is one of the things I'm grateful to God. He blessed me with these 3 awesome gals in my life and through them, I've managed to grow even closer to Him. So without further ado, I present to you,

I guess we've really grown. Each of us embarking on different paths now. Can you believe that she's going to be a teacher in the future? Hahaha! 

 

Oh yea, I mentioned in my previous post that I'm taking driving lessons now~ I came across these photos which I took in the past when I was in Kim's car.

She has a row of dogs on her dashboard and goodness know how long it has been there. She claims it was left there by her brother but I bet she's secretly enjoying the torture they had.

Poor doggies~ Imagine there's 1 whole row of them.

Oh, and she had a mini car accident the 1st time she drove me around. She caused the loss of an eyeball. 

  

That poor frog rolled down from the dashboard and fell to its death. We mourn the loss of it till this day.

On a side note, I can't wait to catch Hunger Games with Sherwin, Leen & BT tomorrow! Woots!  

And so, school has started

It's currently my 3rd week in school now and I've yet to blog about it~

Life's been mundane nowadays as its just school & studies for me....

Yea right~

If you know me well, you prolly know the words that I typed above are just bullshit. XDD

Basically I did not really enjoy my 1st week in school as most of the people there have already formed their own cliques and with a pinch of discrimination, it wasn't hard to feel lost or left out.

But then again, I'm glad that I still have friends to turn too and actually, I don't mind being alone at times as there are loads of things that keeps me occupied. For example: DRAMASSSSS!

Yeaps! Recently, I've been going on a T-drama marathon. Watching 1 after another~ So far, out of all the dramas I've watched recently, Down with Love is like the best! JERRY YAN is absolute LOOOVEEEE! Watching him in DWL is making me reminiscing about the times I fangirl over him in Meteor Garden~ Ahhhh~

Well, after Calling for love, am gonna move on to Fated to Love You... provided I have the time to watch. T.T Have a feeling that I'm gonna get really busy thanks to the assignments that are gonna pile up and all the group projects zooming over~ Blehhhh!

So back to school, I guess I can be spotted pretty easily in a crowd thanks to my clothes and of course my hair~

My hair is like the brightest in every class I'm in and most probably one of the brightest in the whole school. LOL~

Besides, the clothes I wear are kinda of different from the crowd I guess. Heehee~ But I'm happy 'cos I had people coming up and complimenting on my shoes~ XDD

Anyway, life's getting slightly better as classes continue and I'm getting to know more people. And managed to click with some of them pretty well like Hui Ying~ So dmn happy that she's in 2 of my classes this sem. XDD
Hopefully I will get to make more friends in the few Clubs that I joined. And for the clubs I've signed up for are SMUSA (Student Associaions), Japansese Cultural Club & SMUBE (Broadcasting & Entertainment).

Out of these 3 clubs, the one that I'm super most lagi interested in SMUBE! And which is currently the most nerve-wrecking for me right now as I'll be having my audition later! Yikes!

Hopefully through this audition, I'll be able to become either a DJ or a Host. (Host as in those emcee, not the host clubs kind of host hor~) Well, I really really truly hope that I'll be able to become either one. Fingers are all crossed for the audition later!! >.

A farewell, an new age.

This feels like 3 years ago.

3 years ago, I was in a similar state as I am now - entering another phase of my life. Instead of Nanyang Poly, it's now Singapore Management University. However, 1 thing remained the same. I'm going in alone. Again.

Boy, now that I've typed it out, it really feels that way.

I wanna to study with my clique again! >.< (yea, whining won't get me anywhere) Well, though I'm not looking forward to my life there as of yet, I believe I'll have fun there. What I used to comfort myself 3 years back is that, 'It's a start of a new life!'. Why? Cos no one knows who you were before, it's a new start. I wonder what am I gonna accomplish there and who will I meet. Should I be laid-back or active? What CCA should I join? How should I go along with my studies? How are the people gonna be like? Favoring JC over poly students?

BAH!

All these questions have constantly been floating around in my mind and are giving me an headache and making me 'fraid of starting school. I guess, the important thing is to be true to yourself... right?

Ahhhhh~ I wonder if I should go for the camps. Both are next week. Feeling really lazy to go for it. Wanted to take a break before I start school~ Afterall, I've been working hard recently. =p

OH OH!

But 1 thing I'm looking forward to are gatherings and parties in SMU! I wonder how they will be like. What I've heard from Joy is that there are gatherings to clubs (I had no idea about this?) and also dinners and such. Seems pretty fun and interesting and from what I gather online about SMU Biz School, there is gonna be a gala dinner / Vegas Night on the 3rd week of the new semester. Sounds interesting~

Mah~ This is just a post as I'm still feeling lethargic from work and my reluctance to start work. BUT, I've finally stopped procrastinating and am starting my driving lessons from this Saturday onwards. I will and I must! I've put it off for like 2 months.

Okay, so you know what 'new age' I was referring to ya? For farewell, easy. My colleagues & my working life for now. Gonna be missing them so much!!

Had an awesome buffet lunch with them yesterday as a farewell meal and Japanese buffet lunch just now with my direct colleagues/supervisors. Still thinking if I should go back during the hols to work or venture to other companies. Afterall, I should experience different things when I have the chance to.

Work, Play and Having Fun!

Pretty busy recently due to friends and work.

Let's see, started my new work last Monday and am enjoying myself. Helped out in a mini event and colleagues there are pretty friendly to me... except for my brother. -.-

I had a mini photoshoot recently with Leen, Trix, Jessica and Fook Yu for our blogshop. It was super short thanks to the rain that decided to crash our photoshoot. Bah! But I can't wait to get the photos from them! XDD

Super excited about this new batch of clothes that I'll be getting along with the spree! Lots of items from June Magazine in it~ Wheeee!

Speaking of sprees, the 1st Fashion Wear Pre-order was a success! Would like to thank everyone who supported and those who've already emailed in asking us to start a new spree! Thanks!! However, there are still some hiccups here and there especially to those who ordered but never paid up. Oh well~

Look out for instocks soon as we've ordered more apparels from our pre-order to cater to those who missed it! XDD

Hmmm.. Let's see. What else did I want to blog about? Hrmm.. Oh yea!

Joy's 21st Birthday!

For that, I shall upload the pictures 1st then blog about it. Too busy to transfer my pictures these few days. I shall decorate this post with pictures when I reach home later on. Heehee!

I shall not procrastinate and start uploading the photos! Better start soon as I foresee a busy schedule ahead soon with the starting of Cosplay Arts Festival again! Woots! For more details, go join the Facebook group for it! It is one event that gave me lots of learning experiences and fond memories with loads of people!

Okaaay, and last but not least, I'm gonna graduate tomorrow! Yes, it's tomorrow!! Pretty sad that I'm unable to have the same graduation ceremony with Zhi Sen and the rest thanks to the numerous students. Cannot take lots of pictures with them in the 'Hogwarts' uniform. I'll miss Jun, Sandy, Marcus and Glenn but I believe I'll miss Marcus and Glenn loads! After all, we're always 'smoking' and pulling the tutors' legs in class.. and I don't mean it literally. Sigh~ Kinda of sad that I'll not be able to study with them anymore. Wish I could.. but not to the extent of waiting for them to finish army and enter Uni at the same time as Glenn had suggested. Crazy fellow! Whahahaha!

The next day was eve of CNY! Had my reunion steamboat/bbq lunch with my family. It was great!! Been a long time since I had a meal with all of them. After that, I went down to Starhub to renew a line for my mom and managed to get this:
