Bored with a ring~

Okay~ The title was supposed to state the word 'boring'. Bored with a ring.

Ermm.. never mind if you don't.

I'm being slightly cold here thanks to the scorching weather recently. Air-conditioner is such a life saver nowadays!

Anyway, just felt like it's been some time since I've last blogged. Nothing much seems to be happening though I'm enjoying my life now~

Work has been work. As usual. Last day at Aviva falls on this Friday and the following Monday, I'll be working at Elsevier as an Event Assistant!

Though I'm reluctant to leave my Aviva job, but being able to work as an Event Assistant would be useful for me too~!

Another news that I have to face this week is that Jean gonna fly off to Australia. Gonna miss her so badly. She's gonna go pursue her dreams and studies there.

When she 1st told me she's flying off in 3 weeks, I cried after putting down the phone. Guess I was upset by the thought that she wasn't going to be around us for quite some time. However, I'll support her and wish her all the best!

Jean is my childhood friend since I was young. We knew each other when we were.... babies? We have lots of pictures and videos of the 3 of us, Joy, Jean and me, playing together when we were young. Those stuff are classic!

I just pray that God will lead her way over there and bless and take care of her. It's gonna be hard without her here but life has to go on. So, all I can do is to support her.

She's flying this Sunday and so, on Monday, mummy and I went to eat at Vienna with Jean as a farewell and encouragement dinner. Heehee! We super duper full after that and after walking around, we saw UFO catchers!

My hand started to itch so I played one of it and caught the toy on the 1st try!!! I was super shocked and excited! Kept jumping around. That was the 1st time I actually caught something and on the 1st try. After that, I tried again.......And I caught it with $1 again!

Ain't I lucky?

Countdown~

I can't believe that in another 7 more days I'll be going to Hong Kong!~ Okie, that's what I've been harping on for a few days. It's getting closer and closer~ I've just checked all the weather forecasts and it seems that the date that we're going, the temperature range is from 13 degrees to 22 degrees! WOOOTS!! I'm gonna love the cold weather. Just hope it doesn't keep raining. Heehee.

My fun is gonna start on Thursday where Jean will be staying overnight~ Gonna sleep early like 10+ so that the next day will seem to arrive faster and I'll be wide awake on our 1st day there~
I hope the plane has some entertainment for our 3 hours + flight there.. if I'm not wrong. Heehee.

I can foresee busy-ness in the next few days before my trip. Tomorrow is out with Jean in the morning, meeting Danny & Leen in the afternoon and my dear boyf in the night. I mean later on.. judging at the timing I'm typing this.
Meeting them all for different agenda~ hahahaha!

I'm gonna watch 'To Kill A Mockingbird' on Saturday!~ Wheeee! I'm looking forward to it. Plus I'll be catching 'Kaiji' with boyf before that too. Well, maybe, if we decide to watch it. 2 shows in 1 day. O.O No choice thanks to the timings they have.

Sunday & Monday is probably slack day. And to catch up on my job hunt. =X

Tuesday is gonna be a nerve wrecking day and the day that determines my future. My final result will be out in the morning and also my interview with SMU!!!! Yess!! They called me recently and asked me to go for an interview this coming Tuesday~ Woots! I was super happy! I gotta go through some English Proficiency Test that made me went O.O when I 1st heard it. I hope my English skills are still intact. Hahax.
And one thing about SMU, they're super duper efficient! They managed to find my twitter account after they called me. I was like super amazed to find out that they're following me on twitter and even send a congratulatory tweet to me for being shortlisted. Like 'WOAH'!
I really hope I'll ace that interview and get into SMU. Lots of people have been asking me to go to SMU (esp Stef) and also NTU. I'm still choosing but majority of my heart is bent on SMU. XDD

Wednesday... I think I got something on but I can't remember. Shucks. My memory is failing me. Packing, maybe?

Thursday is packing time, slacking at home and meeting Xiang Min (most probably?) Heehee~

Friday is byebye time till next Thursday~ I hope I'll be able to get internet there. Jean might be bringing her lappy along so might be able to access certain things. I heard there's wifi at Disneyland lobby so that sounds good for my iTouch~ Heehee.

Graduated & Jobless

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

I'VE GRADUATED!!!!!!!! (unofficially.) I'm done with my exams for my polytechnic life for good!

All's left now is to wait for my results to be out and the graduation ceremony. Hehehehe!

After that, I will start out on another journey I guess, a 3 year journey. University life. I really hope I can get into SMU Business School. *crosses fingers & pray*

Anyway, I've decided for March, I shall go find a part time sales or retail job. I'll be looking for a more official job in April after I come back from my Hong Kong trip! I'll probably look around Causeway Point or Far East Plaza area. Saw quite a few shops hiring part timers there. XDD

Gonna be pretty busy in March too! Wheeee! I'll be attending and helping out Jun's chalet this Thursday to Saturday~ Heard that's gonna be lots of drinking and cards. Hahaha. It will be a good time for us to gather around after the exams. Totally can't wait!

After that will be my upcoming Hong Kong trip!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!! I'm super excited till I can't wait for it. Another 26 more days to go. I'll be staying in town and sight-seeing for the 1st 3 nights then off to Disneyland for the next 3 nights before heading back. Total of 7 days 6 nights. Whee whee whee! Been hearing a lot about the Disneyland from Trix. Hahax.. I'm still hyped up over it. Although I've heard a lot of comments about it not being that fun etc, I believe that the company can make a difference and I'm going with one of my closest friends, JEAN!

I'm super duper happy that she can go! Gonna have loads of fun there! Lots of people told me that 1 day is enough for Disneyland but the package is a 2 days offer so gonna enjoy it to the max there! Somehow, my mom also managed to get a 3 nights stay offer at the hotel there so wooohoooo! 1st night at Disneyland Hotel with free breakfast with characters at the Enchanted Garden follow by 2 nights stay at the Hollywood Hotel. Wheeee! Can't wait for it! I'm gonna be able to fulfill my wish of visiting Disneyland before reaching the age of 21 now. Hehehehe. Thanks to my Dad and Mom. XDD

Currently doing research on the different hotels in Hong Kong to decide which will be the best to stay in for the convenience of shopping and sight-seeing. Heard from lots of people that there isn't much to shop over there but still gonna keep my hopes up about it. SHOPPING!!! Though I think I will spend more money at Disneyland though. Hurhurhur. Looking forward to the yummy food too~!

Oh yea, one downside of the whole thing. My Mandarin really sucks and I don't understand a word of Cantonese at all! Wish me luck. Gonna try brushing up on the reading at least so food ordering wouldn't be so tough. XDDD

Totally can't wait for my trip to Hong Kong now. Ahhh~! Anyway, after my exams last Thursday, went out with Jun, Marcus, Glenn, Josephine and Silvia to eat and slack. Walked around AMK Hub as usual. Kinda of bored by AMK now. Heehee. The following day, I followed Dad to his favourite prawning place early in the morning. Went there to accompany him and at the same time, bling my new mirror.

It was a failure. It just confirm that my decision to stay off the arts path was right. Whahahaha!

After that, Eileen came and we went to do Fish Spa! Woots!

She couldn't control her laughter at 1st. LOL!

Later on, we headed our separate ways~ I met Xiang Min and we went to watch Little Big Soldier. It was hilarious. Laughing like mad, especially during the NGs. Hahahaha.
At AMK Hub, I bumped in Selphie and Theo respectively, and on Saturday, I bumped into them again, both at Cineleisure too! Super coincidence.

Yeaps, I went to Cine again.

I met up with Trix, Gerry & Wendy before that for the Watsons sale at Expo.

Bought some goodies there! This is one of it.

It was 2 for $5 so each of us got 1. Gerry got Mickey, Trix got Ariel, Wendy got Tinkerbell and I got Minnie~! Wheee!

The Natas Fair was like flooding with people sia! Crazy queues! Met up with XM later on and went to Ginza Barin @ ION to have our dinner. Mine's Chicken Katsu Don~

Study Study Study..

I'm supposed to be studying now. Supposed. But, just can't get anything into my head and kinda of stuck. Had a good atmosphere for studying but mom had to rush into my room to show me the package plan for the Hong Kong trip. YEAPS! I'm gonna go Hong Kong!! Disneyland!! Wheee~

Praying real hard I'll be able to go as my mom will only go for it if the tour agency allows us to extend 2 more nights so that we'll be able to have some free & easy time. This time, if we go, it'll just be my mom and me~ The package plan is a 3D2N stay at one of the Disneyland Hotel! Woots! So can't wait. It'll definitely be in March, dates not confirm. Mom's gonna call and ask about it tomorrow and hopefully, book it tomorrow too~!! Excited!! And now you know why I can't study. =P

Just came back from Jovan's house. Watched a few animes together. His room is O.O. Lucky fellow. He made me feel like getting a new laptop now! Okie, I should probably get a new one though, judging from the lag-ness now. Heehee. FF13 is niceee! Played that at his house. Before going to his house, met Kim and Joline to submit our admissions for NUS. Argghh!! Bad experience. Bah! NUS, not them. Had a crazy time after that and went to try KFC's egg tart. Wasn't too bad.

Hrmmm~ Suddenly, I feel like I'm blogging backwards. Whahahaha! Since it's done, might as well continue.

Yesterday, I went to the airport to send my dear boyfriend off~

It's my 1st time sending him off despite the numerous times he has flown. =P Had Popeyes there together too. Yummy! Had 2 loooong bus rides to and fro the airport but it was good, helped me study. But I had to take a break after a while so.....

After that, went to collect my Valentine gift from my boyfriend~ I gave him mine the previous day. Forgot to take pictures. Oh well, it was a customised keychains and one of it was an ambigram with both our names! Super cool. Love it loads!! Hahahaha! So, he passed me the receipt and told me I had to collect it on my own as he was flying off the next day. =( Oh well, his flying here and there are always pretty sudden but kinda of expected it too. Not as in I knew he was flying but, some things, just gotta take it as it is. Heehee~

Anyway, he got me something from my wishlist! Something that I wanted for a super duper long time!! Had a hard time finding it too.

He got me my name necklace!!! AHHHHH!!!!!! I was super excited when I first saw the receipt (ok, not at 1st, was kinda of slow that day. He was poking fun of my slow-ness). Finally!! My name necklace!
